Our plants are approved by TIF in Mexico, USDA in North America, and by the European Union. Because food safety is such a major issue, Sigma Alimentos employs HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Point). This is the process control system designed to identify ³critical² points in the production process and to prevent safety hazards from occurring. HACCP is recognized worldwide as a proven method for controlling food safety hazards and has been recommended and endorsed by major safety and health organizations worldwide.

Our plants have its own water treatment facility, which is essential to a safer, cleaner environment.

Every batch of products is inspected in our plant laboratories for microbiological, physiochemical and sensory analysis.

During every phase of the manufacturing process, optimum worker hygiene is monitored to ensure outstanding product cleanliness. Automation is very important in maintaining product standardization and volume requirements.
